The story of Cross Creek Golf Course And Resorts Limited begins with golf and expands into hospitality, recreation and community.
Founder
Mr Shola Abidakun
A lawyer and avid golfer, Mr Shola Abidakun founded Crosscreek Golf Club in 2018 with a vision to create a distinctive golfing destination in Akure.
The course embraced the natural water-crossing terrain rather than removing its character. That decision shaped the Crosscreek name and laid the foundation for a destination now expanding into a resort hotel and wider recreation experience.
Course design was made possible by Pro Baba Ahmed, with further input from Pro Topa Yusuf. The course was officially inaugurated in 2020.

The organisation is entering a new chapter: a hotel with classic rooms, tennis and swimming built around the established golf-course identity.

Crosscreek Golf Club reached a major milestone with the inauguration of the golf course.
Dr Akinwalere
A retired Permanent Secretary in the Ondo State public service and currently a university lecturer in the state.
Mr Issac Shedowo
A seasoned banker and entrepreneur who has contributed to the club’s continuing development.
Golfers and female leadership
The club recognises seasoned golfer Elder Ayo Akande and its Lady Captains, including inaugural Lady Captain Princess Adekemi and Lola.

Cross Creek Golf Course And Resorts Limited
Cross Creek Resort is being prepared as a refined destination for luxurious comfort, recreation and unhurried time away. The hotel will bring together classic rooms, the Crosscreek golf course, a tennis court and a swimming pool in one welcoming setting.
The hotel is launching soon. Until room categories, rates and opening dates are formally confirmed, the website will present them as forthcoming rather than available for booking.
